FINALLY EGYPT IS REBORN

It is another historic day to the people of Egypt. It is two and a half hours before the polling stations open, and there outside the polling station a 70 year old woman Nadia Fahmy seated, waiting anxiously and aims at been the first one to vote. Today Wednesday 23 of May, Egypt is holding presidential elections which so far appear to be looked at as a new chapter of history to this nation that just recovering from the toppling of its former president Husni Mubarak as part of the wave of Arab spring uprisings.

Most of the people who showed for the elections including the old ones, expressed their hopes of a new future they expect the elections to bring. "Finally Egypt is born" was a phrase that a weeping 80 years old man said. The election appears to be a significant one as even people who have never voted before showed up at the elections.

For the first time after the presidential elections, no one knows what the results would be like before casting the ballots. There is also an obvious state of fear of what the outcomes would be, and whether the chosen candidate would be one of the majority's choice or the minority?
