Protesters against the Israeli`s occupation on Palestinians areas.
Palestinian activists have called for a "Global March to Jerusalem" on Land Day to protest against "the policies and practices of the racist Zionist state".There will be marches in about a dozen locations, including the Galilee town of Deir Hanna. Organisers have said they will be non-violent."For 44 years this policy of colonialism, which has prolonged the occupation, has been the main source of violence in the region and the single most menacing threat to the two-state solution," said the chief Palestinian peace negotiator, Saeb Erekat.

Men younger than 40 have also been banned from attending Friday prayers at Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque."Forces are deployed widely around the country and they are on alert," Israeli Police Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch told Army Radio. The Israeli authorities are also concerned that Palestinian refugees and their supporters in Lebanon and Syria may try to cross into Israel, our correspondent says.
