3 DEAD,40 MISSING IN ITALIAN SHIP DISASTER(WATATU WAFARIKI NA WENGINE 40 WAPOTEA KATIKA AJALI YA MELI YA KIFAHARI NCHINI ITALIA)

At least three people were reported dead, after a cruise 
liner ran aground off the coast of italy on saturday.
Thousands of passengers and crew were evacuated by 
life boats while others had to be airlifted to safety the 
italian coast guard reported.

Passengers, some saying it felt like a rerun of the 
Titanic disaster, told of people leaping into the sea and 
fighting over lifejackets in panic when the ship hit a rock 
and ran aground near the island of Giglio late on Friday.
"I was sure I was going to die. We were in the lifeboats for two hours, crying and holdingon to each other," 
said Antonietta Sintolli, 65, breaking down in tears as she recountedthe event."People were trying to steal lifejackets 
from each other. We could only get ones forchildren." 

Watu watatu wameripotiwa kufa maji na wengine maelfu
kuokolewa baada ya meli ya kifahari ya Costa Concordia  
yenye tani 114,500 kugonga kijimwamba kisiwani Giglio
 nchini Italy siku ya Ijumaa.

Meli hiyo la kifahari kabla ya kukutwa na shari 
Costa Concordia.Waliookoka kwenye ajali hiyo wanasema 
ilikuwa ni kama na marudio ya "Titanic", watu wakijitosa 
baharini na kung'angania majacketi ya kujiokoa."Nilikuwa na uhakika kwamba nitakufa,tulikaa kwenye vijimtumbwi kwa 
masaa mawili tukilia na kukumbatiana" huku akibubujikwa na machozi  Antonieta Sintolli mwenye miaka 65 alieleza.
